How many books have you actually read?

PageKeeper tracks what you're reading — pages, pace, start and finish dates — and rolls it up into the numbers you want to know: books this year, pages this year, and how fast you read.

How it works

1

Add what you're reading

Title, author, printed page range, and a genre — or park it on your To Be Read list for later.

2

Log pages as you go

Type the page you're on and PageKeeper works out the rest — or log with one tap right from the home-screen widget.

3

Watch your year add up

Finish a book and it joins your shelf — books, pages, and your real reading pace, all counted.

Built for readers who like numbers

Log from the widget

Your current book lives on your home screen with a one-tap page logger — set your own pages-per-tap, or tap the widget to jump straight to the book.

A real To Be Read list

Queue up everything you're excited about, then start a book with one tap when you're ready.

Every page, remembered

PageKeeper keeps a history of when you read what — so pages count toward the year you actually read them.

Yearly reading stats

Books and pages this year, your pace and reading speed, favorite genres and authors, your fastest read, and a yearly books goal.

Covers, genres, and colors

Snap a photo of each cover and tint the book with a color sampled straight from it — plus fourteen built-ins and genres from Fantasy to Self-Help.

Milestones worth chasing

Badges at 1,000 pages, 5,000, 10,000 and far beyond — counted across every year you've tracked, not just this one.

Private by design

No account, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your device.

Questions

More detail in the full user guide (PDF).

What does the free tier limit?

Free readers have one book going at a time — the To Be Read list and Finished shelf are unlimited. Pro removes the one-at-a-time limit.

Can I add a book I'm already halfway through?

Yes — turn on "I've already started" when adding it and enter your start date and current page. Your stats pick up from there.

I started a book by mistake — can I undo it?

Yes — as long as you haven't logged any pages yet, open the book and tap "Move to To Be Read" to send it back.

Can I add books I finished before getting the app?

Yes — choose "Finished" when adding a book and enter its start and finish dates. It counts toward that year's stats, so a mid-year start doesn't shortchange your numbers.

I logged the wrong number of pages. Can I fix it?

Swipe left on the entry in the book's history to remove it — the page count rewinds — or edit the book and set the exact page.

How do I delete a book?

Swipe left on it on your shelf, or open the book and tap "Delete Book" from the menu button in the top-right corner. This can't be undone.

Can I match a book's color to its cover?

Yes — add a cover photo and PageKeeper offers swatches sampled straight from it, alongside fourteen built-in colors. Custom colors are part of Pro.

Can I choose the order books appear in the widget?

Yes — pick "My Order" from the shelf's sort menu (or Settings → Reorder Books) and drag your currently-reading books into place; the medium and large widgets follow that order.

Can the widget show pages left instead of percent done?

Yes — long-press the widget → Edit Widget and switch Progress Display to "Pages Left".

Can I see when I'll finish a book?

With Pro, open a book you're reading and its Stats section shows "At this pace" — the days left and a projected finish date, based on how you've been reading.

Does it need an account or internet?

No. There's nothing to sign up for. Everything lives on your device.

Is Pro a subscription?

No — it's a single one-time purchase. Buy it once and it's yours forever, restorable on any of your devices with Restore Purchases.
